Am I better off with a photo of my product or a photo of myself? Unfortunately, my product photographs best on its own, otherwise I would have a picture of myself WITH my product!
I would also go with a photo of yourself. People will see pictures of your products in your shop, and having your photo as your avatar adds that personal touch. Like if you were a brick and mortar store customers would come in and see you so its nice if they can do that in your etsy store too.
