Problem and buyer not responding :/

Had an order come in a few days ago for one of my glass turtles.

Unfortunately when I went to ship, I found that the little turtles head had broken :(
I glued it....and it looks ok like in general but if you look right at you can tell it had been broken.
Not wanting to ship a compromised item...
I PMed buyer and offered a solution. (50% off, exchange, make a new, cancel transaction) No response. Emailed her. No response.

Now what? :(

I would wait till they reply and maybe send a letter as well telling her that you emailed and what not. Cause maybe she's not checking her mail and stuff and you don't want to send her the turtle and her not be happy cause she saw that it was broken. idk that's what I would do :/

Aside from writing a real letter like Nicole said, I don't think there is anything else you CAN do....? How long has it been since you've heard from her?

I would do what Nichole said, plus I would send another email & convo letting her know (again) of the problem and that you will not ship until you hear back from her.

Can you remake a new turtle, and ship that with a note saying you had to replace the original? I don't know how different each item is. I would think a new slightly different one would be better than a glued one though.

If it was just a few days I would wait a little longer and see. I would be willing to have another turtle even if it isn't an exact match. The turtles are so cute!

Are you sending messages to all available email, including the one available through PayPal? Sometimes people have different accounts and forget which ones are attached to which sites. So try every available email account you have access to.

they use direct CC I've only got the one email account.

Thinking im just going to remake as close as possible...and ship that if I dont hear from her before then.

How did they pay? I find buyer sometimes have their etsy email set to a junk mail account and I can find a better email from there Paypal receipt.

I ran into a similar issue with no response from the buyer. I convo-ed twice and emailed. After waiting a few days and no response I contacted Etsy Help and was told I did what I should do. It was up to be if I wanted to cancel the order or just wait.

Hope things get resolved soon!

Still havnt heard from her, remade the turtle and shipped it out yesterday.

I hope she is happy with it :(
