Pricing?

Hi everyone,
I'm new to Etsy and am finally starting to figure everything out :)

The one thing I have a question about is pricing. If you have a second, could you look through my shop and let me know what you think. Is my pricing fair - is it too low? I've come across many, many other shops with similar items selling their items for $2-3 more. Am I putting people off by having my pricing "too cheap" ?

I'm no expert- but. If you are just starting out, it's real easy to want to start your pricing out low to get some sales under your belt and then raise them. I'm not sure that it is the best way to go though.

Your pricing is definitely too low for the product. I'm not going to use your term too cheap, but I will say that people will wonder if you are using inferior products or you are using remnants, or the such. I would raise your prices to a more comparable level now while you are still new.

After figuring out cost of supplies and fees are you even making a profit? Are you paying yourself anything? If you're not covering your costs and making some kind of profit, it doesn't matter how many sales you have, you won't stay in business.

I agree with both Nanacreations and Lori.
It is always good to take a look at your competitors, but they might be using different fabrics and techniques than you.

It is a long video, but it will give you a very good idea of pricing (this is the best video/ article I've ever seen on pricing).
