Pricing...

Can anyone check out our prices and tell us what you think? We've asked family and friends but I think they are just too nice to critique...they all say they're perfect the way they are right now and we know there's got to be something to improve.

Thanks in advance. I'd be glad to check out yours as well if you are interested!

Re: Pricing...

Hello fellow Utahn! Your shop is beautiful! I love the sea shell candles. I think your prices are great.Charge what you feel comfortable with and remember that both etsy and paypal charge fees so you definitely want to make some profit so you can restock and enjoy a little extra for your time.

Best wishes!

Re: Pricing...

People pay big bucks for their wedding day. You could easily raise your prices. Such as the starfish boutineer, I would sell it for at least $15, rather than $7. You are selling youself short! Beautiful shop by the way, I love the photos.

Re: Pricing...

Your products are such a great idea! I'd agree in saying the prices may actually be a bit low. Some pieces I wonder how you'd make any money with the time & products that you use. Great stuff though! I know of a few family friends I'd love to buy for if I weren't traveling.

Re: Pricing...

Considering you have all of those beautiful unique sea shells as part of your product, i think your pricing is more than fair. I would even suggest bumping them up a bit for single orders, and then note in your copy that you can offer discounts for bulk orders...

Re: Pricing...

If I was buying the shell candles in a mall, I would expect to pay around $10 or more for just one. This three pack:
http://www.etsy.com/listing/96035695/island-wedding-shell-candle-favors
could easily be $20-25. Candles are not cheap, especially when they are original somehow.

I don't even know how you made your ocean breeze soap! You could probably charge up to a dollar more, but where it stands, it is very tempting.

If you just want to get your items off the shelves, and the prices you have them at aren't a problem for you, leaving it where it is at is fine though.

Re: Pricing...

HI :) I am from Kaysville Utah, whoo hoo! I think your prices are great. You are doing a wonderful job, keep up the good work. I don't make sales in Utah cause my prices are too high for the local crafters. But I keep them high and I do really well everywhere else. Be bold! Love your shop! Cheers!

Re: Pricing...

Thanks for all the advise! I think we'll try out raising some of our prices and see how it goes for us.
