Pricing Question

Hi all,

I am fairly new to selling on etsy, and only recently have gotten everything set up. I've been trying to promote, but I'm still not having any sales.

My question now is: Are my prices fair?

I try to keep them a reasonable price, while still being fair to myself in terms of the time & material cost.

What do you think is a good price range for original ACEOs? What about ACEO prints? Bookmarks: Originals and Prints?

Is there just not much interest in collecting art cards anymore?

Re: Pricing Question

It's hard for me to say whether your prices are fair because I really don't know what an ACEO is. Perhaps you could explain that in your profile or descriptions for people like me who may be out of your niche market.

Sorry I wasn't much help, but I do like your artwork!

xoxo,
Hayley

Re: Pricing Question

Hi there. I agree with HayleysPaperLove. I hace no idea what an aceo is. I know that watercolor is the hardest type of painting to do and your collection looks lovely. But what is "aceo"???

Re: Pricing Question

ACEO stands for: Art Cards Editions & Originals. They are miniature collectible pieces of art, the size of standard playing cards.

I should definitely add that info to my item descriptions :)

Re: Pricing Question

I think your prices are great and fall within the range of similar original aceo paintings.

There are many great articles on pricing to guide you.

On a unrelated note. I think it would be great to see your artwork with a neutral background and/or cropped to only the artwork for the first image.

i've added a brief explanation of "ACEO" to each of my listings, and i'll now work on getting some better first images.

Re: Pricing Question

www.fotofuze.com may be of some help. It does get annoying sometimes but sometimes does wonders...
