Please can somebody tell me where I am going wrong

Hi all, I make regular sales of my Beatrix Potter quilts and have some Dr Suess quilts too which don't go so well, although other sellers seem to do well in the same price point category with Dr Suess baby or toddler quilts. If any of you could please check my listings and offer some suggestions I would appreciate it - are there some tags I am missing? Some key phrases you could suggest to put in my descriptions, titles etc. I love making them and have a big box of supplies, but if they aren't going to sell then I need to consider 'de-stashing' so as to speak.

Hi Sarah,

I see a couple of things that you can improve: the first one is your store Announcement. It should be more optimized for Dr. Seuss-related items.

The second - your item titles and descriptions. If your customers are searching for the "Dr. Seuss quilt", you should add this phrase to the beginning of your item title. For example, instead of
"Baby Quilt The Cat in the Hat Dr Seuss"
"Dr Seuss quilt, The Cat in the Hat quilt baby quilt..."

I hope this makes sense.

Make a section just for Dr. Seuss quilts under "shop sections" it would make it easier to find them.

Yes, what Deborah said - Your shop sections are a VERY important part of your SEO from within Etsy, Google, and other search engines. Your shop title as well and the first few words of your announcement are all crawled.

You also have to factor in any off-etsy promoting or following they may have.

Wow! You are an amazing quilter!
My recommendation for your store is to brighten your photos (have a white background if possible) so your beautiful work is showcased to the hilt.
Also the more products you list, the more chance of sales.

Thanks so much for the ideas so far - I will be changing my shop sections and titles. I do notice that I get lots of views and favorites for the Dr Suess quilts, just not that many sales.
