Please Help! Postage question

I purchased postage for an item and it did not print. I requested a refund and it is sent in, not approved yet. But I need to mail this out today and can not purchase another label for the same item. What can I do?
Any help would be greatly appreciated!!!

Etsy should let you simply reprint the label if you paid for it already. You just go to the Shipping Labels section, and select purchased labels. It should let you redownload it in the future. But since you already requested a refund for it, looks like you'll have to take it to the post office yourself and purchase postage there.

Hi Vicky - I guess I don't understand. It doesn't allow you to purchase another label until the refund is approved?
And why didn't it print in the first place, is that a printer problem? If it isn't, can you try to print the label through paypal if you tried etsy before , or vice versa?
Last resort, I'd say, is a trip to the post office. I also try to have a stash of stamps in the house just in case, and hand-write the address. In this case, of course, you have no tracking, 'no nothing', and I would definitely contact the buyer and explain the situation!

Both Etsy and PayPal let you reprint postage if it doesn't print right. If your postage problem was on Etsy, you could use PayPal ... even if the customer paid with DC! Just go to www.PayPal.com/ShipNow ... you'll need to enter the recipient's name & address since it wasn't paid with PayPal.

Good to know. I had a buyer pay with DC yesterday. I forgot an item from the package after I printer the label, which changed the weight. Etsy says to request a refund, then it will let you change the item information. Needless to say, it didn't. At that time, it was really inconvenient to go to the post office.

Hopefully you got your refund from Etsy shipping!

BTW, I use PayPal "shipnow" to send all sorts of things, including holiday gifts. Sure beats standing in those long holiday-induced lines at the PO!
