Pinterest curious..

I would like to start using Pinterest to promote my shop. Should I upgrade my personal account to business and keep it under my name (since I already have followers) or start a new business acount under my shop's name?
I would really appreciate any feedback or advice.

Hi Eva,
I'm curious to read what others are doing as well.
My Pinterest page is under my name since I had already had a Pinterest account before I opened my shop. What I recently did to promote my Etsy shop was - I labeled my very first board my Etsy shop name and pinned most of my items for sale inside that first board. I'm going to make an Etsy shop SALE board and put in the 2nd board as soon as I get a chance. I've also made up some boards that specifically include items from my various shop sections since my shop has such a wide variety of items.
I also have an Etsy Treasury board, flower board, recipe board and all kinds of other boards that interest me to help gain followers and make my Pinterest page more interesting. I don't have many followers yet, but I have seen in my stats that I've received searches from Pinterest.

I don't have a business account but I do Pin my listings regularly to my "Made by Me" board. I don't have many followers and don't follow many people either. However, I did notice that two of my items were quite popular, they got pinned almost everyday (popular by my standard :)) And it seems that they did draw some clients to my Etsy shop. Maybe they somehow hit the right target audience!

I know that I need to create more boards to accommodate my pins, Now I am just throwing pins in my "Neat!" board whenever it's doesn't have a clear board to pin to.

My site shares the same name as my shop since I created it after I opened my Etsy shop. Here is the link if you want to take a look:

and they are going to talk about Pinterest. I really enjoy Making It On Etsy webcast, so I was excited to find out Dan Safkow is doing one on Pinterest just this week!
