Pinterest - Post Your Pinterest Name + Follow 2 + 1 Repin

Hi,

I'm trying to build up my Pinterest pins and followers, and thought maybe others are too. Pinterest is a great marketing tool. Although I don't think any purchases have come from Pinterest yet, I can tell that my blog has received about 30 visits from Pinterest since yesterday when I created my account. (I've been linking some of my pins to my blog as they are tutorials and some to my ETSY page.)

Hi - please correct me if I'm wrong but is the main idea to get new followers, or to pin each others Etsy shop items for a little exposure? I absolutely appreciate all the new followers and pins, except people are pinning random things from random boards of mine which seems to defeat the purpose of gaining visibility for our listings. I'll continue pinning because you all have neat stuff but it could be more purposeful if we pin each others shop items. :-)

I'm not sure if you already do this but maybe try making a board of just items in your shop that way people will know exactly what to repin. Plus all those followers that are repinning everything on your boards will see everything you pin from now on so its still good exposure :-) just a thought.

I have a group board on Pinterest called "Reason for the Season" where I pin Christian related Christmas items. If you would like to be added to this board so that you can pin here just let me know and I'll add you.
