Picnik Alternative?

If you use Picnik for your banner or photos, you probably know that the website is shutting down on April 19.

Too bad - I really liked this free tool.

Do you know of an alternative free photo shop service?

Download Picasa. It's owned by Google and it has nearly all of the same photo editing tools plus more! :-)

Thanks - this might be the reason Picnik is shutting down, Google bought them some time in the last two years, and perhaps the two services were duplicative.

I agree with Picasa. It's amazing! I'm going to miss Picnik though. :(

I used to use Picnik as well and was sad to see that it is shutting down because it was so user friendly. I have started using photoshop.com. They have a free photo editor and I've found it to be really easy to use.

Picasa *is* great, but sometimes I still use www.pixlr.com for certain things (made my banner there, so easy!)... it's worth checking it out and just having it in your bookmarks. It's easy to get frustrated with one site or software haha and it helps to have somewhere else to go :P

Photoscape - you can download from Cnet - I use it and love it. It's an awesome free tool.

Try http://www.picmonkey.com, it is almost exactly like picnik, short learning curve etc.
