Photo editing

My computer crashed, so looks like I''ll be starting from scratch. :( Which photo editing programs would you recommend? Looking for something that's easy to use. And free would be icing on the cake. :)

Re: Photo editing

I use a simple but free one Piklr and I also have photoshop 06 but it is hard and a big learning curve for me so I hate it you almost have to take a class on how to work it and know how to use all the apps to it.

Re: Photo editing

I've used picmonkey and Gimp but finally invested in Photo Elements 10 by Adobe. I love, love it!

Re: Photo editing

Definitely picmonkey! I also use fotofuze if I'm taking my pictures on a white or black background.

Re: Photo editing

Gimp and Digikam are my preference (but I don't think Digikam works outside of Linux, so if you're still using a commercial OS, then Gimp).
