PayPal transaction in euros and customer in US

Maybe someone can explain this to me and ease my mind. I had a transaction with someone from the U.S. And was paid through PayPal. When I printed up the shipping invoice it was calculated in euros for the customer and my copy was in U.S. Dollars. I messaged the customer that her order shipped and the mix up with the invoice and would try to get her copy corrected. Her response was that it happens to her all the time with PayPal, receipts in Mandarian, euros and other languages Is this common? Should this be brought to the attention of Etsy instead of the thread? Thanks for your wisdom. Glenna

No, my receipts are printed using Etsy. The customer copy calculated in euros and my copy in U.S. Dollars. Someone suggested it is in the customer settings with PayPal, which makes a lot of sense.

OK, I had that happen a few weeks ago. I am pretty sure it's a problem on Etsy's end because when I looked at PayPal history everything was as expected.
