PayPal Setup Questions

I've just started using PayPal, and I have a couple basic questions:

1. What payment solution should I choose to use with Etsy? Should it just be the "website payments standard?"

2. Does it automatically accept both credit cards and e-checks or do I need to input an option for accepting e-checks?

You should use either a business or premier Paypal account--both enable you to accept credit cards, debit cards & echecks. No need to go with the payments pro or anything like that for Etsy sales.

The business & premier account accounts are free except for the 30 cents per transaction fee and a 2.9% fee on the total amount received (3.9% for cross-border international payments).

It will automatically accept e-checks. Paypal will alert you when someone pays that way and again when the "check" clears. Good luck!
