Pay with a Tweet

Has anyone used Pay with a Tweet to drive viral marketing?

Basically you create a product for download. A person can then choose to buy the download or pay for it with a tweet by simply tweeting about the product. (They can also use facebook if they choose not to use twitter.) It's a great way to get your name and url out there through the social networking of others. I'm thinking of maybe drawing up a sheet of printables and trying this out.

It sounds okay, I wonder if it will come across a little too spammy?

It sounds like it can get spammy, but I'm thinking it's a good way to distribute a coupon or discount code. I can probably use it when I'm at a fair or market. Plus, I don't want to sell any of my product for a tweet (tho I understand the marketing value). I'm going to try it with a coupon. Thanks for sharing.
