Packaging Rings. How Do You Do It?

I've made three sales. I'm quite happy with that ^^ My first two were necklaces, and they were easily pakcaged up in pillow boxes and tissue paper. But I just made a sale of a ring and it's just occurred to me that I'm not sure how to package it!

A pillow box would be fine, but I can't help thinking it's a bit of a waste given how big it is, and it may even slightly crush the ring!

How does everyone else do it?

The ring isn't a normal ring mind you, its feature is quite large and flat. I've just relisted the item in my shop if you think you need to see it to be better help.

I appreciate all feedback <3

Hi, Kim, congratulations on your sales!! I buy jewelry boxes from Rio Grande jewelry supply. They have a variety of sizes--if I were sending large rings I would buy some boxes to fit. Good luck!

I bought cotton lined gift boxes from Fire Mountain Gems. I never thought of getting ones to fit the rings I am currently working on, only the neclaces and earrings, etc. Thank you for putting that thought into my head.

I'm in the same boat, we're forever making new products with no way to package them. Luckily finding a box that fits your rings shouldn't be too hard, unless it's a really odd size.

I actually wrap my rings in tissue paper and put them in an organza bag. I ship all of my jewelry this way and then they go into a padded envelope for mailing.

I take a jewelry or business card, hole punch it, run some ribbon thru form the back and tie the ring to the card. This goes inside a small white cardboard jewelry box, inside a bubble mailer. You can get those boxes from the craft store, if you only need a few of them.
