Open yet another shop? ... or

I have three shops. One, MariasWorkshop, for classic and vintage-style jewelry. One, KnottedJewels, for boho-style, macrame, knotted, leather and more casual jewelry. I opened my third shop, MyLittleBlueShop, to sell my vintage doll-related supplies (I used to make reproduction dolls many years ago), but lately I have added other items.

My LittleBlueShop is slow right now, but it has done much better than the other two and I know it can pick up if I list more doll-related supplies.

My two jewelry shops are not doing great and I have them on vacation to revamp and re-stock them.

I really got excited at the beginning and purchased an enormous amount of beads and jewelry-related supplies and realized, after-the-fact, that jewelry is such a saturated market. I love making jewelry, so am still going to make it, but would like to sell some of the supplies I purchased.

I would appreciate your ideas on the following:

1. Should I open another shop to sell only my jewelry related items? (four shops)
2. Should I sell my jewelry supplies in MyLittleBlueShop? I have some beads listed there right now, but feel that those listings are not congruent with the rest of the items I sell there. In addition, there are not enough sections and I feel I would be cramming it.
3. Should I combine my two jewelry shops (completely different styles) and open another shop to sell my supplies?

Thanks for any input you may offer.

Tough question. I'll be interested to hear what others suggest. I have been thinking about opening another shop, too. I find the logging in/logging out a pain multiple times a day. I wish Etsy would let us link shops so we could easily run multiple shops.

Since your LittleBlueShop has done the best out of your three shops, why not sell all your jewelry there. Than sell all your supplies at Maria's Workshop.

You already have 3 shops that have a following, I'm sure you can use that to your advantage instead of opening up a 4th shop that has no following.

Plus, when I hear "Marias Workshop," I expect to find supplies more than I would to find jewelry.

Thank you both for your response Amanda and Nikki.

Nikki, interesting thought about the name "Marias Workshop". I never liked the name but my choices were very slim. Every name on my list was taken when I first opened the shop and then again when I renamed it.

Also, something to think about selling jewelry at My Little Blue Shop. I know I will run out of lace, buttons, ribbon, wigs, and other doll-related items sometime within a year. Maybe it would be a good transition.
