I have three shops. One, MariasWorkshop, for classic and vintage-style jewelry. One, KnottedJewels, for boho-style, macrame, knotted, leather and more casual jewelry. I opened my third shop, MyLittleBlueShop, to sell my vintage doll-related supplies (I used to make reproduction dolls many years ago), but lately I have added other items.
My LittleBlueShop is slow right now, but it has done much better than the other two and I know it can pick up if I list more doll-related supplies.
My two jewelry shops are not doing great and I have them on vacation to revamp and re-stock them.
I really got excited at the beginning and purchased an enormous amount of beads and jewelry-related supplies and realized, after-the-fact, that jewelry is such a saturated market. I love making jewelry, so am still going to make it, but would like to sell some of the supplies I purchased.
I would appreciate your ideas on the following:
1. Should I open another shop to sell only my jewelry related items? (four shops)
2. Should I sell my jewelry supplies in MyLittleBlueShop? I have some beads listed there right now, but feel that those listings are not congruent with the rest of the items I sell there. In addition, there are not enough sections and I feel I would be cramming it.
3. Should I combine my two jewelry shops (completely different styles) and open another shop to sell my supplies?
Thanks for any input you may offer.
