Hi everyone,

I make mostly one-of-a-kind pieces or only a few of the same designs. I'm wondering if its a good idea to show the jewelry on a person or do u think this will turn buyers off because someone is wearing it and its only one in stock.
Does this make since?

I'd show the bracelets on a live model to show how they hang on the wrist. I'd show the earrings hanging on something other than a live model. As a buyer I like to see how they hang. A lot of sellers use the edge of a wine glass or teacup to display earrings.

Hello!

That is a great question, and something that I often wonder myself. For me (and I am no expert) I try to use a model for my bracelets and necklaces. It helps to show the buyers the size and shape of the item you are creating. I don't think that it turns buyers off to see a bracelet of something of that nature being modeled prior to their purchase. The only items I sometimes wonder about being modeled prior to purchase are earrings. I would recommend photographing those in a models hand or something similar to help convey shape and size.

I agree with above- but also try be creative with your earring display - ive seen enough wine glasses - make your product stand out by being creative with how you show it hanging.

I agree, the earrings you don't want to model in ears.
