One Positive and One Thing to Improve for the Shop Above You

Someone started this thread on the Interactive Blogging team and I thought it was a great idea.

Post one positive thing about the shop above you and one thing that they need to work on.

I like that you have a lot of variety in your items while sticking with your subject/style and have items at different price points. Someone that is drawn to your shop by one item will probably find other items they are interested in.

Some of your photos could be improved. Here is one listing example:
http://www.etsy.com/listing/96508166/doctor-who-magnet-tardis-its-bigger-on In this listing, the first picture has too much glare. It's probably really hard to photograph something that is laminated. It looks like you took the picture in your kitchen. If so, the fluorescent lights are giving uneven, too bright light. Maybe you could take the picture in another setting or change up the lighting. The other two pictures are blurry. Are you using your camera's macro setting?

You're product is super cute. I've never done any cross stitching before, but some of your items inspire me to want to try :) I like that you offer kits and ready made items of the same pattern--it's always nice to have options.

You're photos are a little inconsistent. I think they're all super clear and detailed, but some are kind of dark, while others have the bright white background. I'm all for variety--if you look in my shop I have some pictures with a dark grey background and others with a bright white--but you have a couple instances where the pattern listing and the ready made listing are different styles

For example:

and

I think maybe having a consistent background for the two might be a good idea. FotoFuze can help with getting that bright white background.

I love your jewelry - very elegant. I think you can work on your photos a little, maybe use a prop. I see you'd rather use a darker background than the white, but it looks a little muddy. It doesn't make your beautiful work stand out. Also, this may just be me, but I feel your descriptions are too long. If I were a buyer, I'd want something quick and straight to the point. A little embellishment is fine, but sometimes it gets overwhelming.
