Oh my goodness! Samples actually work!

So I had absolutely no sales since I became active on Etsy again this month. Yesterday I added samples to my shop and I have sold 2 listings (7 samples)! If you are running a company capable of selling samples I highly recommend it!

I love to get a sample of a product! Kind of a "prove it's as great as you say, and I'll buy it" thing.

I recommended the same to a soap shop I have been buying from.
I like the big size but it takes forever to finish and with samples you can try them all and then get your favorite. They also work very well as presents.

You could even offer 6 samples for a slightly higher price than one big product.

I love samples, particularly when its a consumable item that I would normaly buy in person (make up, soap, lotion, shampoo, etc.) That way I can try the item and make sure I like it. It's particularly helpful for me b/c my skin is more olive toned than it is white or black (if that makes sense!) and I have so many allergies that even some 'safe' cosmetics/soaps bother my skin. So, if I can find samples of a product I love to buy one or two occassionally to see how I like it!

PS- will you be selling sample sized face powder? I'm looking for some natural powder, but would want to try a sample first to check match/sensitivity :)

Hi Nicolette (That's so weird that we have the same name. It's not very common!)
I WILL be offering finishing powders very soon. The only reason that I don't have them up already is that I don't have jars the right size. However, if you are interested I can send you a sample jar (5 g) of finishing powder and if you like it you can order a full sized one when I get them!
