Luckily, one of the best things about selling on Etsy is the support and encouragement from other sellers.

Whether you’re brand new to selling on Etsy or you can count the years on both of your hands, you probably have some milestones that you’d like to celebrate with all of us. Post your milestone in this thread. Every month, we'll highlight some of our favorite posts, so join the celebrations!

Please also introduce yourself in your post if you’re new to the Etsy Success Team—describe what you sell and how long your shop has been open.

Here are some examples of milestones (but remember that all personal milestones big or small are worthy of celebrating!):

What a lovely thread. Every time I make a sale in my Etsy shop, it makes my day! My shop is growing and reaching more people every day. I love thinking I am bringing a bit of joy to people's lives. This week I just started selling batik fabrics in my shop & I'm so, so excited about them. They are just gorgeous!

I like the frog magnet. It's really cute! I've done magnets, (see my avatar), but I was giving mine as a little bonus giftie with purchase. I put my .com on the back, plus a little "Thank you" message. It worked well, until the magnet making supplies became expensive.

I celebrate that I had two sales in a day. Yesterday it was the first time I had two sales in a day. I'm happy despite only having 11 sales!

It's been a few great months!! I had hoped to reach 400 sales by the end of 2012. I did!! I was over 500!! Now just two months later I'm up over 750!!!

Selling on etsy does work as soon as you figure out the "secrets" :)

Wow it's really encouraging to read about the success of your sales. I'm hip ping to get there one day... I made my very 1st sale over the weekend, I'm pretty excited about it. So what's the key, to making more sales. Would love to hear your tips and tricks.

I just made a sale to a customer in Australia! It was a huge surprise too, because the shipping i noted for ELSEWHERE was 2.75 but the actual shipping was $9.45!! OMG, was an eye opener. Any advise on handling shipping in that situation?

Back on 2/13 I posted that I passed 50 in sales and was hoping for 5 a month to make 100 by the end of the year.

Today I noticed I just passed 60 in sales! Guess I need to set my goals higher!!!!

I opened my shop on January 13, 2013 and have sold 6 items! Launching Facebook, Twitter and Pinterest pages this week. Tips, tricks and insights for success are welcome :)

I'm celebrating my shop. I did it. I made a shop and have had many sales. I'm very proud of myself!

Tonight... I finally reached 40 items in my shop (over 1 page of listings)!! It has been a goal of mine to increase my inventory and feel a bit more established and I finally made it!

I also have gotten two sales in one week which is really exciting. It has been slow moving, but I finally feel like Going To Ground in gaining momentum!

Congrats to everyone's accomplishments!

I am a a little discouraged as my shop has been open since January 7th, and i only have 3 sales...one of which was placed just a couple hours ago. I know its a slow process, and every achievement is a step in the right direction.

Woo hoo for sale #3. And the funny part was it had only been listed for about 3 minutes :). I am going to like those ones the best. LOL.

I opened my Etsy shop over a year ago and only had a small idea of how to create a great shop! I had the items but really working on my shop and following great tips from other Etsy members was the most helpful. Now things have really started to turn around. Turning our love for art into a small business has been so rewarding. Working with my mother has been a great joy as well. We have found that sometimes our collabortion pieces turn out better than if we work independently... But as with most things it takes time and dedication. I know that keeping up our shop is just as important as working on new projects for our shop. It has really been a fun and exciting experience so far!!!

I had a $1000 month, which is incredible. I've also had semi-regular sales in 2013, which is awesome. I'm lucky!!!

Oh, I also successfully made hoop earrings today. Quite pleased with myself.
