This team is dedicated to sharing business advice in a supportive environment. From the day you first set up your shop to the day you think about quitting your day job, there's so much to learn. Luckily, one of the best things about selling on Etsy is the support and encouragement from other sellers.

Whether you’re brand new to selling on Etsy or you can count the years on both of your hands, you probably have some milestones that you’d like to celebrate with all of us. Post your milestone in this thread. Every month, we'll highlight some of our favorite posts, so join the celebrations!

Please also introduce yourself in your post if you’re new to the Etsy Success Team—describe what you sell and how long your shop has been open.

Here are some examples of milestones (but remember that all personal milestones big or small are worthy of celebrating!):

• You made your 1st sale / 1st international sale / 1st custom order
• You reached (x) # of sales
• You added (x) # of listings in your shop
• You have (x) # of views / favorites / admirers
• You received positive feedback from a buyer
• Your shop was featured in the press or in social media

After tip-toeing with my business venture and gradually learning along the way, I have reached 1000 sales on Etsy today! I have learnt so much from the Etsy community and constantly reflecting on what I'm doing has meant my creative business is gathering pace :)

YAYYYY!!!! I made my goal for this year of reaching 100 sales today! So excited! I opened my shop in September of 2013... it's taken a while but I've been learning along the way. Thank you Etsy and thank you to the community for giving me advice when needed and thank you to my customers!!!!

Joined Etsy in Feb 2016 but really got active since March end and have already listed 46 items, I started with my patchwork quilts and cushions and them saw the oil on canvas paintings on other shops doing so well, I love ETSY and see the potential. Now I have five of my paintings from my home already up and more coming soon. I would love to just retire making oil canvas paintings and selling on my Etsy store. Already made 3 sales, have been featured in 2 treasury lists and have over 300 favourites. Loving the support, and would love to grow my sales, Getting good ideas from here. Happy selling. :)

Hello. It's great to hear how others are doing.
I opened my shop in February 2016, and I actually opened it accidentally whilst putting up my listings. Thought I was pressing 'save and continue' !!!
So it opened with only half the listings up!!
So far it's been a huge learning curve.
My celebration is that I have finally managed to put over 50 listings up!! And have had 9 sales to date.
I am very much enjoying being part of the Etsy community. So much more to learn as well. It's great. :)

Congratulations to everyone on their milestones! Selling through the Etsy shop is still going very slowly, but I'm celebrating having three of my paintings on consignment in a brick and mortar store for the summer. I'm crossing my fingers they will sell and I can bring her some more. It's cool to think of people on vacation going into a store and looking at my art (the store is on Cape Cod).

The cha-ching I had 5 minutes ago officially makes this month my best month on Etsy since I joined a year ago - the highest sales and highest revenue since my (now) second best month of last August :) It's not even finished yet! I've reached $100,000 in sales!!! Wooooo! It's been a lot of hard work and long hours but I'm proud to hit this milestone in less than 2 years time.

It might seem like the smallest milestone but I just took the leap in actually opening my etsy store after contemplating it for a few years but never feeling confident in it. I'm excited to see where it leads as I love looking at other peoples art prints so I hope I can inspire just the same.

I'm celebrating breaking the 125 listings barrier. I've gotten close before, but never broken it. I've also broken through 50 sales.It's been a bit of a hard slog, but I've got there.
