Luckily, one of the best things about selling on Etsy is the support and encouragement from other sellers.

Whether you’re brand new to selling on Etsy or you can count the years on both of your hands, you probably have some milestones that you’d like to celebrate with all of us. Post your milestone in this thread. Every month, we'll highlight some of our favorite posts, so join the celebrations!

Please also introduce yourself in your post if you’re new to the Etsy Success Team—describe what you sell and how long your shop has been open.

Here are some examples of milestones (but remember that all personal milestones big or small are worthy of celebrating!):

Hello Etsy community!

We are Angel & Mark @ AIM Handmade and we live and work from our home in the Shuswap, BC. The two of us design and produce modern minimal furniture and small home accessories.

We have been on Etsy for just a year and its been a great learning experience...we have sooo much to learn! Its a bit overwhelming sometimes but we are committed to making a go of it and would love to join in this team of celebrating milestones!

Being a finalist at the German / Austrian Etsy Design Awards is huge for us! It's so, so, so cool, that Etsy is still giving us more exciting moments even though, we're here since 2009.

Hi everyone! I just saw this thread right now and post a thread at discussion about my First Sale today. I opened my shop last August 18th and now I got my first transaction. Im so happy, I thought before its hard to compete with other same category sellers but I realize that I need to try more things to atleast see my creations at the search engine or social media. I got a lot of advice about tags, titles, more designs. I consider all that advices and its effective.

I love to challenge myself, with that we all learn, we become more creative, we gain confidence, we become mindful with other members, we help, we celebrate for anothers success.

Thank you all Etsy members for helping new comers like me. Your advices are so valuable. I get more motivated each day.

I finally made it to 50 items in my shop! Yay!!!! Now if I could only get sales it would be perfect. Patience I know. :)

Yay for my hard work. I joined active teams and I have reached my goal of 600 views in 30 days. This was my shops personal high in views and I finally got back to that number and know how now to keep at least that amount of views.

We started our Shop on Sept 10 2014, our goal was to make 50 sales by the end of August, which we achieved! In August, we set a goal to increase the number of new products each week to three, and in the last two weeks we achieved that goal. Our listings our showing up in all the search engines...that has certainly taken a lot of effort and we are so thankful that all the hard work is starting to pay off. Of course, we could not have achieved these milestones without the input of many seasoned "Etsians" and all the great articles from Etsy!

I reached 3000 reviews today! I love reading my reviews - they really motivate me to work hard to find quality items and provide great customer service that warrant five star reviews.

Hello! I started my shop in July and finally made this week my first two sales. Plus my logo item was added to one of my follower's treasury. This motivates me to keep going with my shop, I have many ideas for new pretty paper products and party supplies.

Hi all you winners in the entrepreneur arena! Just opened my shop mid month and have over 700 favoriteds ( is that really a word???) 9 for my shop too! Eight sales so far! I am SO excited.....I Love you supporters and Etsy! Why did'nt I do this sooner.....hmmmm

After a slow couple of months we decided to start a Facebook page for our shop! Wow- definitely a big spike in traffic; hoping the momentum continues and that we start to see some sales again soon!

I opened my Etsy shop in April this year and I'm celebrating 10 sales so far.
One customer this month bought three items and left 5-star reviews for each one. My first set of reviews!

I spent last weekend tweaking my descriptions and tags so will see if that improves traffic and sales.

It's also my goal to add at least five more listings to my shop by the end of September.

I did it! I set my goal for 200 items by September 1st and I just listed my 200th item! Woo hoo! :)

I hit over 300 admirers and got my 144th review last week, which was one of my favorites! Feels so great to be appreciated by my brides! Goodness knows I sure take so many hours to work on their items, it's nice to see someone give back the love!

I got 11 sales in August!!!!! This might not sound like much but I am soooooo amazed and so happy and grateful! I have been working so hard on improving my shop, I'm sure some kind of SEO must have kicked in or something!

Also I had the loveliest customer ever whose feedback actually made me cry! What a loser haha.... Anyway, the dream is still on! :)
