This team is dedicated to sharing business advice in a supportive environment. From the day you first set up your shop to the day you think about quitting your day job, there's so much to learn. Luckily, one of the best things about selling on Etsy is the support and encouragement from other sellers.

Whether you’re brand new to selling on Etsy or you can count the years on both of your hands, you probably have some milestones that you’d like to celebrate with all of us. Post your milestone in this thread. Every month, we'll highlight some of our favorite posts, so join the celebrations!

Please also introduce yourself in your post if you’re new to the Etsy Success Team—describe what you sell and how long your shop has been open.

Here are some examples of milestones (but remember that all personal milestones big or small are worthy of celebrating!):

• You made your 1st sale / 1st international sale / 1st custom order
• You reached (x) # of sales
• You added (x) # of listings in your shop
• You have (x) # of views / favorites / admirers
• You received positive feedback from a buyer

My dolls will be featured on TV soon. I'm not able to say which show this will be, but as soon as I find out, I will gladly place this on my team. VERY exciting. A flim crew was over to my shop and filmed for 5 days. I don't know where this will go, but I suggest if you have a doll made by me already, keep her. Her value may go up...... All depends how the show goes. Thank you.

I sold an amazing handmade Mother of Pearl Gemstone necklace & earrings set on my birthday (which was yesterday) - it's now my 3rd sale on Etsy!!!

Ive really been focussing on creating new products at the requests of my friends and family. I take advice from them, listen to their ideas, identify their needs and wants, and I have begun to incorporate that into some of the items that I am designing and I am seeing results. I have a few sections in my shop, a jewelry section and a home section, I am about to begin working on some specially designed furniture and tables to add to my shop as well. Its been a great year at Etsy and just want to congratulate everyone on their accomplishments! Happy 2015!

In one month I built my shop, got my first sale, and now, celebrating my 30th sale! So excited I finally got serious and built my shop after opening it a few years ago! I only hope it continues to grow!

I woke up this morning to discover I'd made my first sale. I was on cloud nine all day! The item is on its way to the buyer -- I hope she loves it!

Passed the $250 mark! In two months I have almost paid my rent with Etsy! How awesome is that. Also woke up to 7 sales this morning! Friday the 13th has got nothing on me (fingers crossed, there's still a couple hours left here).

Today is my one year Etsy-versary!

Not sure what to make of the stats but feel the shop has been very successful, and also that I've learned a great deal I can use moving into year 2. Thanks for the support and wonderful advice!

We joined Etsy about two weeks ago after finding out about a 5th grade student who was making lots of sales. We had talked about doing this for quite some time, but the 11 year old pushed the right button for us to get into the game.

Made our first sale in the first week! Now we are looking for ways to boost traffic and get a few more sales.

I woke up to my very first two Etsy reviews this morning! One from a wonderful fellow shop owner & another from a fabulous young lady who already placed another order as gifts!

It's so nice to see how others experience your pieces! I'm having a blast & hope the rest of everyone else's weekend is filled with fabulous reviews, sales, & much much love!

Since I opened my shop on Jan. 12, 2015, I've received 1,035 views, 70 favorites, and 6 orders, 4 of them being directly from my Etsy shop online! It may not sound like much to you who are Etsy champions, but it's really encouraging for me to see how far I've come in just 1 month of business. I would love to hear how some of you set business goals for yourselves. I still have a lot to learn and would love advice!

We've just received a order for a custom size of 100cm by 70cm print from an Interior Designer in Australia. Isn't the world a magical place that I can sit in my desk at home in Scotland, create a design for it to end up on the other size of the world, blown up to a size that you really can't miss. Yay to the creative spirit and yay to Etsy!

this is my second shop and just got my 200th review and 1,210 sales....celebrate every milestone! :)

Our FB page reached 200 fans, we got our 6th Etsy sale and this month we reached the same amount of views and favorites that we got in total from the start of our shop the previous month!

Also we started giving care to our shop and hopefully before the end of the week it will be all polished and shiny!

I guess the more you give the more you get!

I started selling in June of 2014, and I've made 5 sales and I just completed my first custom order! It was a big leap, and something people told me to do for years, and I'm happy that my drawings and paintings are making others happy.

I've had my first repeat buyer yesterday!
She came back only a week after her first purchase and bought another of my illustrations cause she liked them so much. That was sale #36 within 3 months of opening my shop, which made me really happy!

I'm also new to this team so I wanted to say hi to everyone :)

I opened my shop a month ago and, though I haven't made any sales yet, I have 264 favorites on my items in my shop. So though I don't have any sales I think I'm still making good progress and am on the right track. :)
