Luckily, one of the best things about selling on Etsy is the support and encouragement from other sellers.

Whether you’re brand new to selling on Etsy or you can count the years on both of your hands, you probably have some milestones that you’d like to celebrate with all of us. Post your milestone in this thread. Every month, we'll highlight some of our favorite posts, so join the celebrations!

Please also introduce yourself in your post if you’re new to the Etsy Success Team—describe what you sell and how long your shop has been open.

Here are some examples of milestones (but remember that all personal milestones big or small are worthy of celebrating!):

• You made your 1st sale / 1st international sale / 1st custom order
• You reached (x) # of sales

I just made my first Etsy sale!!!Today, this morning! One of my hooded scarves! I am so happy! I have been waiting to open my shop since last summer and I finaly got it opened in January and got discourage, withdrew and redid some photos, put them back on sale and about a week and 1/2 I sell my first item! Sometimes when it's your first sale it seems like it takes forever.

Good morning.
It 'a little, but for me it is a success, last week, I sold my first jewel and ... I'm happy!
This gave me the incentive to do better, I know I have to work very, very hard, but this sale, tells me I can do it!

My turn to be happy & celebrate with you.

These last few days, a few orders came in and I now officially have reached 100 customers. Yes, it's 100 customers & not 100 sales because if you go to my shop you will see 130 sales, which is the amount of product I sold.
2012 has been an very encouraging year for me and my shop and I really hope I can keep it up and make my business grow more and more everyday.

So Yay for the 100th customer and congrats to everyone, may it be your first sale or you 100th !

Received my first order for custom branded apparel packaging this week. Uye Surana - RTW & Fashion-Based Lingerie chose our FiberCraft EF Recycled Mailers for their product packaging. I will share pictures when printing is complete.

Congratulations! I like your shop, especially this piece. If I was going to make a suggestion, I'd say add more items and keep posting in teams, it's helped me for sure :)

I have favorited, at least 50 items that have been presented in this team, and I do this just about every team I visit.......I'm not sure how being a part of a team helps the views of your shop, I favorite all day long. I get involved in conversations, I critique shops, and my views stay the same. Are we all here to promote one another or not? I am seriously thinking of dropping the 30 teams that I'm involved in. Have a Blessed Year.

My etsy shop is getting a lot more views than my booths at shows. This has been a great way for me to reach a wider audience and get sales in between lugging my stuff hither and yon and sitting waiting for someone to approach my booth. I'm just trying to figure out how to get more sales, so I've increased my inventory to include my apparel line, in addition to my vintage jewelry. This way, I hope to bring a new audience to my shop. I am celebrating my second online sale!! I have had lots of great feedback and sales off line but there' s something about getting a sale when someone is putting faith in you, the producer (seller) and your product. To many many more sales!

I think I'm just frustrated, I enjoy the teams, I'm just not getting the sales I'd like to have, and I do everything....I have treasury's I have favorited and followed shops I have facebook and twitter and pinterest and wordpress, craiglist and forums....I just don't know what I'm not doing,......Ugghhhhh

I love seeing everyone sharing their milestones whether reaching 1000 sales or your first sale it's always so exciting to see your hard work pay off.

I have had two sales since starting my shop in January. I was so excited when I got my first sale. I started reading the Etsy Success letter and have increased my shop and listing views dramatically and also increased my favorites as well.

Maybe I haven't recently had any sales but I was so excited to see that people were looking at my shop and my items.

Better get back to work so I can reach my next goal! :)
