Boot camp launches on Thursday! Would you like a partner to bounce ideas off of, give you a hand when you need it, and keep you on track through this year’s Holiday Boot Camp? Connect with on of your Etsy companions, reach out to a member of one of your Etsy Teams, or connect with each other in this forum thread. Let other members of the team know what kind of buddy you would most like to partner with. Are they also a jewelry artists? Or maybe you’re looking for someone who also works with upcycled materials? Or maybe you want to find someone nearby?

A bootcamp buddy sounds like it would be good. someone who has had the pleasure of doing well in Pass Holiday seasons here on Etsy.
An artist or someone who might be able to relate to me:
photographer: ie vintagestyle, fashion inspired , fine art Nudes and Blythe imagery
artist :ie drawing,painting,sculpting
customizer :ie Sneaker etc.

I need help in how to wrap my mind around presenting the things i make in a holiday-way to appeal to my customer! preparing for the Rush!
I can offer advice/feedback on design and visual packaging because of my experience as a graphic designer for fashion magazine and small Ad agency.

Hello all!

I've been in the habit of deleting Etsy Success newsletters (Sorry, team! They tend to be useless during the rest of the year!) and in doing such I didn't even realize that Holiday Boot Camp started! That's the whole reason I'm signed up to them!

Does anyone still need a buddy?

I do a lot of video game related stuff and would love to do some cross store promoting with someone!

Hi there, getting starte a bit late due to some health problems. I would love to get a buddy who can help me get my stuff up and running for the Hollidays. I make jewelry with fused glass and metal clay. I also make note cards featuring old fashion prints. ( out of trademark.)
I know it's late, but does anyone still need a buddy?

I would like to have a buddy as well..started Etsy then stopped now gearing up again...with tons of work to do! We sell natural and organic confections.

We are in the process of getting our packaging together, taking photos while making new products. This is not my full time job..I am a jeweler, a web designer etc..etc...etc...

My husband and I both are artists and I am having a confection crisis and am passionate about local sourcing and renewable resources..biodegradable..compostable packaging. All I can think about is what yummy treat I can make next!

Howdy, I make toys and an assortment of other things. Fairly new to Etsy (signed up in July), hoping to find a buddy late in the game. Are buddies supposed to be in the same realm of creating ie. toys with toys, potters with potters, or is it advisable to find a buddy who's in a different realm?

I'm late with my bootcamping, but would love a buddy! I had just put up my shop last holiday season, and found the etsy info helpful but a little overwhelming for where I was at (behind). Now I'm just overwhelmed by being behind ;).

I make quirky jewelry, holiday decorations, and want to add paper products and I still consider myself a newbie. Would love someone with a sense of humor and similar tastes.

I sure could use a seasoned buddy... in the middle of all this, my physical shop has to relocate; the place I rented from was sold and everyone here has to GO! Trying to stay organized, but still need cash flow and to maintain a together appearance. May have to define a limited, light-weight, easy to ship product line and stick with it to start. ? I'm brand new to Etsy; so new in fact, that I won't even be launching my shop for another 10 days or so yet! I'll be selling papercraft products and cards from recycled materials and after about a month will be branching out into clothing and fabric items (again from recycled/upcycled materials). My style is inspired by pagan influences, but appealing to people of all beliefs.

My shop here will be my full-time job and only source of income, so whilst there's nothing to see just yet, you can be assured that I'm taking this venture very seriously; I have to! I'm computer and social-media literate and will compliment my Etsy store with a crafting blog and the usual tweets and Facebook page etc.

I'm hoping to buddy-up with someone whose products compliment rather than match mine, so a jeweller who's into nature-inspired and organic style pieces, or someone who recycles/upcycles non-paper and non-fabric items would be perfect. But I'm open minded (and a latecomer to the Boot Camp), so please get in touch if you think we'd make good buddies.

My strengths are innovation and words. My weaknesses are numbers and time-management! It might be worth noting that owing to disabilities of an unpredictable nature I often work at strange hours (i.e. whenever my body is capable). If you need pics of my products to decide, please ask and I'll send. The only photos I have now are pretty rubbish though and my proper photos won't be ready for another week.
