Boot camp launches on Thursday! Would you like a partner to bounce ideas off of, give you a hand when you need it, and keep you on track through this year’s Holiday Boot Camp? Connect with on of your Etsy companions, reach out to a member of one of your Etsy Teams, or connect with each other in this forum thread. Let other members of the team know what kind of buddy you would most like to partner with. Are they also a jewelry artists? Or maybe you’re looking for someone who also works with upcycled materials? Or maybe you want to find someone nearby?

It makes me feel so much better to see so many new people starting out, as it means I'm not the only one! My sister and I are getting ready to launch our shop on Oct. 17th, and in the meantime, I'm working on getting everything set up to the best of my talents, so that by the time of the launch, we'll at least look like we know what we're doing! Long story short, I'd love a Holiday Buddy that doesn't mind a newcomer. Our shop will be based around Steampunk/Victorian themed beaded jewelry, Goth & Punk styled jewelry for teenagers, and various stuffed zombie dolls. We may start adding crocheted or knitted items, should our skills in those areas improve!

I'm a painter, so another painter, photographer, print maker, illustrator.....someone who works with 2D, would be really great.
I'd love them to be not super brand new, ...at least around where I'm at, with a few sales under their belt, (but if you are brand new, and feel like we'd make a good match, let me know!) I feel so behind as well. I just found out about this boot camp thing and I would like to give it a try. I have been a seller for 3 years but I actually had an open shop with no items in it for 2 of those years when I had my second son. I am also a stay at home mom with a home studio that I share with my mom and dad, they do woodworking. I sew many different items from aprons to children's items. I also do a lot of upcycling. AI would like a buddy that is not in sewing only because I would like an outsiders opinion. Someone else that sews will know what I am talking about when it comes to descriptions and such but I want to make sure what I am doing is clear to everyone else. If there is someone out there that is looking for someone that is not in there esthetic, I'm your gal.

I am new and am looking for a "patient" buddy!!! I work with fabric, it is my drug of choice. I will be mainly sewing items with a Texas theme, as I "love" my state. I also love to make baby blankets when I find different and inspiring fabric for those. I am not very computer savvy , but really want to get comfortable with it. This is my first holiday boot camp year! I'd love a buddy!

Someone who isn't all work, no play, would be an ideal buddy for me - I love random conversation just as much as serious, Etsy seller talk! I don't want to feel like I'm talking to my boss at work. Etsy is a place for fun too!

I make dolls house miniatures, so anyone who is interested in this or who sells similar items would be good. If not, I really dont mind being a buddy to someone who would like to have a buddy in an area of items completely different to their own, it could be interesting!

I'd like a buddy who will help me improve my shop, motivate me through the busy period and someone who has experience. If you are fairly new like myself, I don't mind that either, we can be newbies together and learn together!

Not really asking for much, but I'll do my bestest to help buddy out too!

- Motivating others (just not always good at motivating myself!)
