Occasion- Not sure...

I've just spent some time adding & adjusting tags & descriptions.

I'm selling painted rock paperweights, so I categorized:
Housewares--Office--Paperweight

What about occasion?

Should I use different categories for different listings?
They could be
Birthday
Housewarming
Anniversary
Wedding (Um, with money, I'd hope!)

Hmmm. Advice?

I don't use occasions and have heard not many people do. I have heard this is something Etsy may use int eh future, but does not currently use for anything. I wouldn't worry too much about it!!

I also agree with Rachel, unless it is specific like Christmas then I might put it in but if you don't have anything for occasions I wouldn't worry about it right now.

I dont use it because from what I have heard it can limit the search criteria, and you can just add it into your tags if you wish. Its kinda a worthless feature that is rarely used.

Ah, I couldn't remember if using the categories would actually help.
