Hi friends!
I just started a stumble upon account and I am liking it so far. (I am a die hard pinterest fanatic though...we'll see how this compares.)
I need some friends/followers/whatever. I'd love to look at what you stumble upon and how you use it to promote your business. Anyone want to be friends?

Mandy - I just followed you back.

So here is how you stumble someone. Go to their site or their page or an item in their shop, there should be a stumble toolbar just below your reg tool bar. There is a thumbs up or down symbol . You hit the thumbs up and if that site isn't already in their index (meaning someone else didn't already stumble them) then you answer a few simple questions and then you are done, you have stumbled someone. You can also hit the stumble button and just stumble through random sites and give the thumbs up or down.

Mandy, you need to get the 'toolbar'. Then whenever you are on a page you can press the thumbs up or down button to add things to your favourites on your stumble account.

You just need to be willing and prepared to also stumble other team members shops and items. :)

Okay I was just playing around with it. I think I favorited you HOomen and sent you a message. Does that mean you will show up now as a possible page to stumble upon? I appreciate everyones help. This is more challenging for me than should be normal....

I just followed everybody! And to answer Emily's question. From what I've read you're not supposed to stumble your own work but people do it anyway, so there are teams on Etsy for us to stumble each other's work. I joined this one:

And Mandy for you to stumble somebody's work, you can either do so when you're on their site, by clicking on 'thumbs up' sign and then writing a short one sentence review+ adding tags where it either says 'tags' or 'topic'
Sometimes when you click on thumbs up, it doesn't take you anywhere to write a review but it adds that page to your favorites, so to get it properly stumbled you'll have to go to your favorites and write the review+tags. That's the only way for others to find it, otherwise just clicking thumbs up won't get the page anywhere.
It's not as confusing as I've made it out to be! haha.. you'll get the hang of it v soon!

All you have to do is hit the thumbs up, watch it turn green, that's pretty much it.

Thanks for all your help everyone. It's nice that you take the time to thoughfully respond to questions. I'm going to take a break from this for now & come back to it later. I think I have had too much learning for the day - ha!.
