Numbers of Listing

Is there a guideline regarding how many listing one should post at a time for optimal return?

Would love to hear some opinion.

I always thought it would be nice if I could post a fixed number of items per day but life and business are not neat. There are days where I have too many orders to get around to posting new items. I consider getting orders out to be the most important task of the day.

The good news is that it doesn't seem to matter how even the posts are; I just make sure there are new and revised/relisted items every week. I've posted as many as 15 or 20 items in a day and then left it alone for 4 or 5 days.
A shop has to look alive.

I suppose that if someone were OCD they could generate a bunch of listings as drafts on one day and then evenly activate them throughout the week.

No rhyme or reason to our shop. We list new items as we have them ready. If it is not listed it can't sell?!
We try to list or renew daily, but it doesn't always happen. We do notice better views when we are listing consistently ( 1 - 3 items a day).

I read 100 was the minimum preffered goal. Also read that 80% of the sales came from just 20% of the inventory.

I didn't know or realize adding more listings can increase chance to be found. Thank you for asking.

I've only post 2-3 listing every weekend, sometimes I do nothing for months. Now I'm shooting for 100 listings and see whats gonna happen.

I am almost at my 100 mark a try and add 1 item everyday so or try to any way, its not always possible to do this but I try
I have noticed though whenever I do list something it does help spike my views.

Did anyone who reached 100 items see a jump in views and sales? If trying to reach 100, it is better to do 1-2 listing each day instead of all at once right?

I have noticed that my numbers don't really change my sales. I'm trying to work on my tags and titles. So much to do so little time!
