Not Sure If I Should Be Concerned....

This week I was featured on Heartsy and got a ton of sales. (yay!) For the most part everything went smoothly, but there's one customer that has me worried. Instead of her voucher number and amount being in the notes to seller, there were a bunch of random numbers and letters. I sent her a very nice message telling her that her order was ready to ship and asking her if she would mind sending me her voucher number and amount and after two days I hadn't heard anything, so today I sent her another nice message, and still nothing.
Do you think I should be concerned? How long do you think I should wait before sending her another message?I'm afraid to send her package without knowing for sure that she actually went through Heartsy, but I'm worried about getting a bad review!

Dont leave feedback yet and you can get her back if she leaves negative feedback. I would just wait.

Re: Not Sure If I Should Be Concerned....

I read recently that it also might depend on how you are messaging people - for example, not everyone checks their convo's, or they might accidentally reply to the etsy noreply address from the convo that arrives in their inbox. Might be worth contacting both through convo and direct email if you have it. Other than that, do you have a policy listed on at what stage you would cancel a sale through no action on the part of the customer and return the item to stock?

Re: Not Sure If I Should Be Concerned....

I read a thread in Heartsy help that suggested as one critique to Heartsy is that people could essentially attempt to 'guess" the number for the code...not that that's what happened necessarily. I don't know if Heartsy changed their system since that thread either.

Re: Not Sure If I Should Be Concerned....

PennyandPaper: I read that too. Apparently someone has tried to "scam" the shop owner by putting in a fake voucher number. She wanted to sent a warning to those of us who have or are planning on using heartsy.

I'd wait and try her email if you have it. What does your policy section say regarding payment? You really haven't received payment yet if the code isn't valid. You may want to wait until the end of your payment wait-time. I suspect if they don't get their product soon, and they're legit, you'll hear from them! And I'm with homemadewisconsin, don't leave feedback yet.

Re: Not Sure If I Should Be Concerned....

Sounds like a scammer to me. I wouldn't send the package until you hear from them, and get an actual payment.
