New Shop manager/advisor layout.

Hi. Just found out that I've now got the new Shop Manager/Advisor layout. Had a little play with the new set up but I can't seem to find how to view my shop as a customer would see it - to check layout, move items around, etc. It's probably really obvious but could someone let me know how to do it, please. Thank you.

Hello,

Go to the lower left hand corner of Shop Manager. Under Sales Channels, you will see your shop name next to the orange E. If you click on the pencil, you will still have the Shop Manager dashboard & be in your storefront in edit mode. If you click on your name, you will exit Shop Manager & be in your storefront (as your customers see it).

Hope this helps!

Brilliant, thank you very much, Mandy. Not 100% sure I'm liking the new layout but we'll see how it goes.

I hate the new manager program. Maybe old dog and new tricks... Trying to keep an open mind...

Re: New Shop manager/advisor layout.

I've been using the new Shop Manager for sometime now. At first I was not thrilled, especially when trying to just get to my shop. If I was editing a listing then wanted to go to my shop there were a lot of clicks to get there until I discovered clicking my shop name while on the listing.
Jump in and click around. There are a lot of new and helpful options, like learning what keywords people are using to find your items and where that traffic is coming from. If it's from a certain social media site, you can focus in by promoting your shop items there.

I do not like the new shop manager. I wish
they would go back to the way it was.

Re: New Shop manager/advisor layout.

I agree. I REALLY don't like the new shop manager. Can't we be given a choice (one that isn't "temporary") that allows us to choose which version to use? I don't like decisions being made about what is better for me without giving me an opt out.

Re: New Shop manager/advisor layout.

It is taking me a little time to adapt to the change from Listing Manager to Shop Manager. I made this brief graphic as an aid and am sharing it here as it may prove of some help to others too:

I would like to see the "Sales Channels" moved up to the top . . . this way it would be easier to click on your shop in Etsy and Etsy Studio too along with any of your other channels/sites.

Enjoy,

Mike

Patsy, I have clicked around in the new manager and where are you finding what keywords people are using to find your items?

Overall, I am not finding the new manager useful. With the old stats I could see what keywords and sources were promoting our shop.
