I don't love it, but if it ultimately leads to more sales, I'm okay with it. I think the banner has the potential to help brand, and gives more personality. But a banner isn't what's going to sell my products. I would like to believe, no matter how much time I've spent on banners over the years, that I'd still be successful without a banner, featured items, or ability to rearrange.
I'm ALMOST tempted to remove my banner for a week or so, just to see what happens with sales. But there are so many other market factors that it would be hard to attribute any change to that.
