New Photographs

I'm working on re-photographing many of my items. Here are two sweaters that I just got pics of on a very busy model. Most of the shots came out blurry so I didn't have a lot to choose from. I would appreciate feedback on the overall impression you get by viewing all five shots on each sweater listing.

Re: New Photographs

If you are looking for someone to take your photos I recommend Busy Bee Models. You can check out their facebook page. It's free, all you have to do is send in your item to the model and you will get great photos. I just sent in my first items to my models yesterday.

Re: New Photographs

The sweater and lighting in the pictures are good, but it will probably look more professional if you can get child photography with sweaters on. I think it would be great to include the faces of cute kids as well :)

Re: New Photographs

I know it's not always ideal to get full-length photos, so these are pretty good, but not excellent. (I know, my last photoshoot, I got 3 models, and 1 found something very funny, has a giggling fit - which took some time...)

I think the red one is good, but the blue one, I would like to see a flat front photo instead of the sleeve.

Re: New Photographs

Emily - thanks for the feedback - I switched the sleeve out for the front of the sweater laying flat. This little model was running all over the park and it was really really hard to get shots in focus. The full length ones I got are mostly out of focus. Also a full length shot doesn't provide much detail on the sweater but do you think rather than concentrate on the sweater details I should provide a photo that emotionally brings the buyer to the item- as in a child playing at the park? Just not sure what will sell the item best.

Re: New Photographs

I would probably use a flat picture of just the sweater for the thumbnail, so that buyers can see it well and then have the second picture be a full length pic of a child wearing it.

Re: New Photographs

I think the sweater pictures are great. And if that is your son he is adorable. He's adorable even if he isn't your son!
And the sweaters are beautiful.
