Hi everyone, My name is Janet Dineen, and I have been an Etsy seller since 2011. Only during the past year have I begun to get serious. I am up to 54 sales for the year, and I am happy with that, sine I make everything from scratch, one item at a time. I need to find a way to get things done faster.

My question of the day is...I have rearranged my shop, and I like where the photo's are on the main page. Why do the photos show up in order of latest listings on the about page? I have two moon photo's in a row and I don't want either of them to be first and second. I am slow learning to figure this computer stuff, so please tell me what I am doing wrong. Need any advice y'all can give me. Be honest, I can take it. Many thanks, Janet in Texas

If you want to do a custom sort go to the "Your shop" pull-down menu. Then go to "Info and appearance". Scroll down to "shop settings" it's on the left side pretty far down the page. Then click on options.

You can re-order the items as they appear in your shop. But that's the only place they are changed. Every other place it just shows the last items added. Right now I look like a button shop. I wish we could select the items that show next to our shop name in other feeds the way we pick featured items.

Hello, I am a new seller in Etsy and I need advice to how to sell and being seen, I tried to do most of the tips in the Etsy booklet and also some advise from here.

You can start by fixing all your typos, misspelled words and grammar errors.

"Chines Lantern, Lantern, Japans Lantern, Orange, Orange Flower, Winter Flower"

If someone types "Chinese Lantern" into the search box, they are not going to find this item.

The one thing I would recommend is saying that the frame is not included within the first couple sentences of your description. People tend not to read every description to the end and will be very upset when it comes unframed.
