New Item Question

Hi,
I have a new item I want to offer in my shop but it's not wedding related, which most everything in my shop is. It's nursery decorations - (you can view the item on my facebook page if you're curious).

I really don't want to manage two shops so would it effect my 'cohesiveness'? I have a LOT of money invested in my brand image and products for it (everything says Sunshine & Vodka).

I would really appreciate your feedback and suggestions.

As long as the style is consistent, it should be fine. Nursery and wedding items are a great match--it will allow you to keep your customers longer! If you were going to sell old bowling shoes or something completely unrelated, then you might open another shop.

That's the hard part, the style and items are not related at all! But you're right about old bowling shoes... LOL

Just had a look at your item on fb, I think you should just have an extra section in your shop for nursery items, to be honest the style isn't miles away from your current items. It opens you up to new potential customers.

By the way you might want to put a link to your facebook page in your shop announcement, had to search fb to find you!

are you going to market your nursery items under the same name? maybe something similar - like sunshine& milk? =) i wouldn't want to have something for my kid with a brand that had an alcohol in it

Well, there's no alcohol in the product and I certainly don't promote my brand to children, who cannot purchase items on the internet anyways.... but that's a great idea for Sunshine & Milk :)

You could market under Sunshine only or Sunshine Jr too. Like A and F has just Abercrombie for kids. I agree that you don't need a whole new shop.
