Need Advice about order

Hi,

I got a sale! Yeah! However, I am not sure what to do. I convoed the buyer but in case I don't hear back I wanted to know what you would suggest.

In the order, there was a note from buyer:
za kolednata vecher!

I don't know what it means and if I should include as a note in the package. I think it is a gift but not sure as the buyer's name is different from where I am supposed to ship it.

Any suggestions since there might be a language barrier how long should I wait to hear back before I ship.

What country did the sale come from? Can you Google a free online translator and try get at least some idea of what it means? I would give it at least a couple of days before shipping to get a resonse. Try their actual email address too....

I use actual email address. I have learned a lot of people dont answer to convos. good idea to find translate site.

I think the sale came from France according to Paypal and it is being sent to someone in the US. I tried the translator and it couldn't detect the language for me. I sent and email to their email address so hopefully that will work.

it is Bulgarian for "for Christmas Eve"

I've looked through Google translate, and as far ad I can tell it's something like Bulgarian, and it says something along the lines of 'For Christmas'....

Sometimes a buyer will buy something to give as a gift to someone else so the shipping address would be different.

Just send a note to the email of the buyer and copy and paste the shipping address to the email. If that is what they put down you should be safe.

I would wait a few days for them to respond, otherwise ask Etsy Customer Service their advice.

I don't know for sure but this is how I would handle it. Otherwise your payment will be held up until you ship. Your listing is no longer available to another potential buyer unless you had more than one of the same item.

It's your call. This is a good topic to discuss. I don't do international shipping.
