My views stink! Can you help?

I was perusing my shop this afternoon and just took a closer notice of my number of views per item. They aren't great. I'm wondering if you could take a look at my titles, tags, and give any other advice on how to increase viewers. I've read all the handbook about searching, tags, done the google adwords searches, and try to update my tags as new 'trending' words are made public. I'm just at a loss as to what else to change. Any ideas for me?

I'm on pinterest and a few items on wanelo (I have issues loading up to wanelo so I have only a few items there). I've mentioned several items on my facebook page, but I do not have a business facebook page, and I do not have a blog (I really don't want one).

You seem to have everything in order tag/SEO wise. I could be wrong though so we'll have to wait to see what others say.

I think it's all about your promotion now. Find your niche market and get involved! I"m very active on FB and Twitter too. That drives a lot of views my way.

I see you're in North Carolina; so am I! Your pictures look great and so do your titles and tags. Good job.

I think you need to increase your outside of Etsy internet presence. I agree with you about blogs. Set up a business fan page on FB and open a Twitter account. I get many views from Twitter.

Try joining more treasury teams to increase your exposure within the Etsy community. That has also increased my views and favorites.

your stuff in my opinion is way better then mine and in the past month I have had over 800 views , 50 shop favorites and 70 listing favorites the key is promotion promotion promotion

Brandon - the OP has been open since 2008. That might account for having more sales than you.

Laura - Promote! You may not want a FB fan page but it is a really simple thing to maintain and I find I get enough traffic from my fans to make it worth it. Twitter is also a great tool for promotion but if you're going to create an account most people advise adding a personal touch to it to mix it up a bit and attract more followers.

I have a blog but it doesn't generate a whole lot of traffic for me, it is very much a work in process.

Teams though, teams are great for promoting your shop. Join up to ones which chat, treasury teams, post and runs, there are all sorts out there to suit your needs.

My friend, get on facebook, open a twitter account and then get tweetdeck to manage them. Over half of my traffic is self driven from those two places.

Are you on treasury teams? I am on a few and they have definitely given me a ton more traffic. Now since most of this traffic comes from fellow crafters, it doesn't always directly lead to sales but theoretically it boosts your chance to land on the front page and spreads your name around more. Haven't really decided whether it's worth the time yet, but it might be worth checking out.

Sorry I fell off the earth yesterday, got busy with 2 boys with their own schedules.

THANK YOU for all your words of advice and encouragement. I guess facebook is my next hurdle for this shop. I really am finding it difficult to get myself out there. It's not my personality to be out in front, I'm a behind the scenes worker and always have been.

I am a part of several teams but only this team and the Top Treasury Team seem to be active. What other teams are you guys a part of that you would suggest.

Brandon, You have great stuff! We are at a different price point though (for most of your items) with yours being a smaller market I bet.

I'm not complaining about my sales. I've only been 'active' since November so I am grateful for the sales. My thought is if I have that many sales with such puny views what could I do with a bunch more views? Know what I mean?
