My items don't show up in etsy search- PLEASE HELP!

I sell handcrafted jewelry, hand carved wood stamps and hand painted pendants. This question is specifically regarding my Hand carved wood stamps. When I try to search my wood stamps in the 'handmade' category in the etsy search, non of my stamps show up while similar items from other etsy sellers appear there. I have tried to change my listing titles, keywords (tags) etc but non seems to be helping. Why is this so? What am I doing wrong?
I can't seem to find relevant answer. I would highly appreciate if someone could help me regarding this.

I'm fumbling my way through the whole 'relevancy' thing, but one thing I noticecd is your titles have some fluffy words up front instead of something like, "Wood Stamp, Hand Carved Paisley Shape" (sorry, I forgot what your specific shape was.) The most important words are up front then additional info follows.

If you are looking by category the listings are shown by how recently the item was listed. Most recently listed items are first. You can relist the items to get them to appear at the top of the list. You will have to pay the 0.20 cent listing fee again, but you will have better visibility. :)

Thanks for the reply. I had recently (Dec 30- today) listed some stamps, with titles starting with `Hand Carved Wood Stamp`. Now when I type `Hand Carved wood Stamps`in `Handmade`category, my stamps don`t show up.....on any of the pages that appear. I wonder why

They're not showing up because you have them listed as a "Supply" and not a handmade item. Change that and you'll see them when you search. (I assume when you're searching it's under the default "handmade" category.)

Also, as someone also said, the first three words in your title are what are picked up in the searches. Read each one of your titles and think about whether someone is going to type those in when they're doing a search.

Do these two things and I have a feeling you'll see a big difference.

Good pick up, Marcia. I can see why you would think your item would be someone else's supply, but right now it's a handmade item. You hand made it to be a supply for someone else.
