My Results 11 Days After Listing My First Item

This shop has been open for a little while, but I was not stocking inventory or listing anything until we moved into our new house.

It has been 11 days since listing my first item, and I have to say I'm pretty proud of myself!

I've found a photography formula that works for me, and only it takes me about 20 minutes total to photograph and list a new item now.

AND since listing items consistently starting last week, according to my Shop Stats I've had:

- 560 views
- 53 favorites // 18 for the shop and 35 for various listings.

I'd say that is pretty good :) I haven't had my first sale, yet, but I am confident in my artwork, proud of my photography, and feel good about my seo.

Just needed to celebrate with someone-- I tried to tell my husband.. He just kind of looked at me funny and said, "Someone hearted you??" ;p

I think Congratulations is in order! My family looks at me funny when I get excited by getting hearted and put in treasuries. My husband asks, "Did you sell anything else today?" So I know how you feel. I get excited just because someone new loves something I created!

Those sound like much better numbers then my first week! Congrats, and if you're getting consistent views I'm sure the sales will come. Not to mention your shop is super cute and funny!

I love that - "Someone hearted you?" My husband tries to be interested when I give him my in depth Etsy victory stories... but I'm guessing it's much more interesting to me than him! :)

"Spit Happens" is so funny... I think if you embroidered that on a towel that could be used for burping a baby, you'd have a bestseller on your hands!

Thanks :) I am actually looking into some bibs to embroider right now. I am trying to find something functional and stitchable rather than purely decorative or keepsake.

I am glad that someone else get excited with the views and favorites. You should see us when we see that someone has placed an order. Everybody gets excited. We have been open since Jan. and have had only 7 sales. I have had a lot of people say that it will take months but we will finally get customers. We are hoping soon that we can start seeing steady monthly sales. My daughter has graduated from High School and has chosen to do this to bring in her income. She loves creating and making different things.

Don't get discouraged just keep working your shop and the sales will come.
