My Etsy store front is a mess...

So, I think my shop was randomly selected for the beta testing for one of Etsy store front designs...
I can't rearrange anything at all and it is so messy.
Does anyone know how long the testing last? Is there any way to deactivate the new store front style and go back to the old one?
It's been like that for days and I keep hoping it will end soon. But it hasn't. :(

I have 3 different store fronts for my store, lol. It's all part of the testing that they are doing. I would definitely suggest to send in your thoughts and comments to Etsy regarding the look, feel, and navigation of the test page that you do have.

In regards to your question above ...
1) Haven't been able to find a way to rearrange listings
2) No idea on how testing will last, Etsy hasn't given a timeline either
3) No way that I know works 100% to go back to the "default" Etsy look.

My store was selected too and I hate it. I don't understand why Etsy keeps changing things when nothing is broken. There must be some people who were hired just to "change" things.

Some people have had luck using other computers or clearing their cookies and starting over. I would second the suggestion that you make a complaint, otherwise they're going to assume that the storefront you have now is a viable option.

I just filled out the feedback on the new storefront. I am very pro-etsy and don't complain all the time.

I've gotta say, they've missed it this time. It is feature-less, non branding, minimalist mess. Where's the About? Where's my brand? What are they thinking? Does this mirror something? It is so feature-less the store doesn't seem credible.

Fill out the feedback. Please.

I took the survey and left the same-I don't like this look. Every time they change stuff I have to go and rearrange my store front-there is no option to do that this time!
I have Easter next to Halloween and everything is such a mess-no banners! ugh...

I'm stuck with it too. From what I understand, most viewers aren't seeing the test views, so you don't want to rearrange to fit the test format. To rearrange your page on the old format, put in your shop's address/rearrange. Like for mine, it would be www.etsy.com/shop/kickglassenamels/rearrange.
I think it's absurd that they changed the view without giving us this information.

I just rearranged it so that those who are viewing in the old format can see it in nice order now.

I filled out my feedback form on the very first day. I was excited at first, but realized so many functions are missing. It is such a disappointment. :( I miss my banner too, but I can live without it. The arrangement of the listings is the problem...I like that the photos are heaps bigger with this new design thou..

I also do NOT like the new test format. It sucks the personality out of the shop. And I usually do not complain about changes on etsy. But this one was way off the mark.

I have liked some of the test pages I got except for the no banner business on any of them. I like being able to scroll down and actually see how to get to the sections and the about page. I also like being able to work completely out of my dashboard to the other areas of behind the scenes store work like listing. I also like that everything in the store was still visible during a vacation day.

But my banner is a branding tool for me across the web. Not having it is a real negative.

I've been in the test for more than a week now.
My shop front looks a mess, and there is nothing I can do to rearrange my shop, or operate it like I used to.
I've been very frustrated and disappointed with Etsy, a site that used to work so well and so far have amazing design and very easy to use features and tools.
I also miss my banner, my shop announcement, etc. My shop now looks so very basic and uninviting.We pay Etsy so much money, we are like partners in this market, w should have a say in what goes on tho our shops looks and navigation tools.
Another nasty aspect of the test is the death of sales and views, frankly there have been a change too many this year.

I also have the test format, and at the beginning I didn't dislike it that much...
I find the design make things more clear for customers.

But now that I have been using it for some days, I miss lots of things as a seller that the old design had...
I hope etsy will take our critics into account...

I must say I was trying to be positive about it, but as the days go on I am getting more and more frustrated. I think it looks a mess and they are just changing it for a matter of changing it - not because it's for the best. There was nothing wrong with the old.

I have had a few different tests over about a month the last one I really liked and found it easier to navigate. When I went back to the normal layout a few weeks ago it seemed slow and clunky. But I am used to it again now. I don't have a huge amount of products so its didn't really bother me that things were mixed up, but I guess if you had seasonal products mixed up it would be annoying.
