I am thinking of starting a line of mini notebooks with specifically dogs and cats,
In order to do this i'm trying to compile a list of most popular breeds of cats or dogs.
So what is your favorite breed? And if you have a picture i'd love to see your furry friend!

I have 2 pit bulls! One of my Etsy teams is all about pit bulls, and we all feel that it's IMPOSSIBLE to find pit bull items but the fan base is so large!

I've asked this question because I've painted certain dog breeds (and cats) on ornaments. If I remember correctly, labs and golden retrievers are the most popular...but I have had a lot of luck with bull terriers. Cats are easy because they are way more generic. I have a little cat silhouette...and although I sometimes change the color, this picture works for most everyone.

Boston Terriers are my favorite. My shop is named after my first two! I like Frenchies, too.

I think put bulls will be a certain and at the top - pit bulls are for hugs not thugs :)

I saw the cutest puppy this weekend while on a camping trip! It was a Pomapoo (half pomeranian / half poodle). It was a tiny little gray fluff ball. Super adorable! :)

Dachshunds!! Those are always fun, and you could do a 2 notebook set with the front half on one and the back half on the other!

I would agree with labs and golden retrievers. I'm partial to boxers too with their squishy little faces :)

I think labs and golden retriever are the most popular. I'm partial to Great Pyrenees though.

Labs are the most popular breeds according to an AKC article I read a few weeks ago.

Pugs are pretty trendy right now, and pit bulls are always going to have a strong following (since it's an emotional/hot topic).

My favorites are shih tzus, border collies, and king Charles spaniels.



The bottom line is this: dogs are awesome. Do them all.

It all depends... With our pillows it varies. Dachshunds, Frenchies, Labs and Pugs seem to be the most consistently popular both on Etsy and our craft fairs. They all do well from time to time.

I have a cavoodle (cavalier king charles spaniel x poodle) .... she's slightly mad but I love her to bits :)

The "oodles" (labradoodles, schnoodles, shmoodles, spoodles and moodles) are pretty popular here in Australia but I don't know whether that is the case elsewhere around the world ....?
