More page views than items views ?

Hey Ho, I opened my etsy in January. Since then, every day I have on average ten views, sometimes more, sometimes less :)

What worries me, is that around half (or sometimes most) of my all views are "Your Shop" as opposed to "this" or "that item"... Does it mean that some people somehow view my main page, look at miniature pictures of items and go: "Meh, nothing to look at"?

Also, maybe you can telll me what I should work on more. I have one sell (I'm still over the moon about it <3), few favourites and those views I told you about, but I'd really like to get going... Please, if you may, take a look and tell me what I can do to make my little HaveACado better!

Hi Ola! I always have a lot more shop views than item views when I participate in discussions. So if you're doing a lot of that it would explain it, otherwise I'm not sure!

As for improvements on your shop, I think your item titles and tags look really good! The only thing I can come up with is to try to brighten some of your photos and remove the blue tint that some of them have. I know when I take pictures of my items in certain light, my white background always has a blueish tint for some reason. I haven't figured out how to fix it yet, so I just edit the picture in Photoshop. Good luck! :)

I'm like Krista. If I'm active in teams on a particular day, I will get more page views.

Or if I promote certain items, or renew items, or add items, I will get more item views.

Somethings that are always good to work on if you want more item views is photos and SEO. SEO will bring people to your items, and good photos will make people want to click on your items.

You'll want to add more items to your store. The more items you have, the greater chances you have to be found. :)

Ola, I agree with Nikki. The more products you have the greater chances you have for sales. I opened my shop in January of 2015 and get the same experience as you get. I am working hard to get more items in my shop.

Oh guys ! thank you so much for your answers! That's so nice of you that you took your time to help me! And also thanks for your warm words... I sold and shipped second item today :O what a great, great day it is !!!
I guess I don't have anything to worry about then, if you say it might happen sometimes!
