With no end in sight to the winter weather here in Brooklyn, I feel like I'll be wearing the same thick sweaters and heavy coats forever. I'm definitely looking forward to switching it up a bit, so today I wanted to talk about style.

I'm a jeans, collared shirt, and sweater kind of guy, preferably with some cool sneakers. I tend to stick to the basics -- classic and nothing too flashy.

How do you define your clothing style?

Eclectic is my style! Depending on the day and what's up, it could be jeans and sweater, or leggings and boots, or fun girlie dress or skirt with tee, or vintage or new! Summer's coming (??) so then it's bathing suit and coverup with pool nearby :) and fun flip flops.

I used to steer toward trendy and unusual, but, now I’ve comfortably settled in on earthy-basic.

Classic- pencil skirts, Cardigans, flared skirts, Cardigans!
Coloured tights - today's are maroon. Love my long boots and ankle boots. Love my winter coats.
Jeans on Sundays ( don't ask me why) I am a purely a winter girl.

It' so fun to hear about all of your different clothing styles!

I don't own lots of winter clothes since they're bulky and take up lots of room. I'd actually rather not even go into detail about my winter style. Just like Robert, I can't wait to switch it up - I'm tired of putting on the same ol' coat!

I recently took a dive into my spring/summer clothes to see what I've been missing and let out a little cry of excitement when I saw all of my loose elastic waisted pants. Not only do they ALWAYS fit after the food filled holiday season, they're covered in fun prints! I usually pair them with a simple shirt, chunky sandals, and jewelry from my shop.

I recently did a massive edit of my wardrobe inspired by Marie Condo's "The Life-Changing Magic of Tidying Up: The Japanese Art of Decluttering and Organizing." The idea is quite simple, only keep items of clothing that bring you joy, get rid of everything else.

Here's a related article about the closet cleaning method for those interested: http://www.luckyshops.com/article/konmari-method-closet-cleaning

Now knowing that my closet is a true expression of things that make me happy, getting dressed each morning is much more fun. Having said that, I don't think I have one distinct style. I like to think of clothes as costumes that let you play different characters.

Casual: Jeans, T shirts (hand printed of course).

Business Casual: Jeans, T shirts (hand printed of course) and a cardigan. T-shirts and sweaters work very well together :)

Business Professional: Suit, button down, tie, under shirt (hand printed t-shirt of course, so I can remain true to my nature :) cardigan in the brief case.
