May goals

I decided I'm going to start setting goals at the beginning of every month. It is the only way I'm going to be able to keep up with 2 venues.

So, my May goals are:
1. Sell 1 item. I just want 1 sale this month.
2. List 5 items. I am slowly bringing back over items from my other venue, so if I do 5, I will be happy.
3. Make 1 new product. I have a few different products I like to make. So, I want to make and list 1 new product this month.

I have a goal that I am hoping will help everyone.
I need YOUR help to meet my goal.
In order to determine my next focus for promoting the Shop, I need to find out from YOU which venue has netted you sales and how many sales per year it nets.
Example of venues are: Facebook, teams, friends (word of mouth), LinkedIn, Instagram, etc.
Please message me your stats and I will share (here?) my findings.
Hopefully, this research will clear the question marks that hang around like cobwebs!

Awesome goals, everyone!!

My goals for the month of May are:

-25 sales (three more than last month - crossing my fingers for that one!)
-Stock up my shop! I'd like to have 160 items in my shop
-Come up with three new sizes/designs - I've got these all figured out in my head - just need to get cutting and sewing them!
-Post on instagram and facebook at least five days a week
-Participate more in my teams

This is a great idea. I need to start making goals for my shop.

For May, I want to at least:

1. Get a better grip on SEO.
2. Schedule time with my models for some of the items I've been procrastinating on.
3. Finish up some of the hats/scarves I've been working on like months ago and kind of forgot about.

Accountability Time! How have you all been doing? Are you still working towards your goals?

I'll start. I did make 1 new product this month - rhinestone headbands for my son's dance studio. And last night, I sold 3 of them. I haven't listed them on Etsy because they are very studio specific. But maybe if I can get good pictures I'll list them. Who knows? I haven't really listed a lot. I'm working on product descriptions and color palettes.

3. Update my photos
4. Get more views to my Etsy shop (If you know the best way to do that, I'd love to get your advice)

New update on my revenue. I am a third way to my goal.. Sales have slowed down so much since the beginning of this month. I'm really hoping that I can make that goal of $300.
A lot of my RTS items in my shop are sold off.
Donation box is still sitting in the hallway waiting to leave the house.
I have paid off my mission trip bill!!!
I have made 5 new birthday onesies
I'm going to clean out my fabric stock this weekend.
And I can't even start to think of Holiday items.

My Etsy goals for the remainder of this month are:

1) Make an effort to get back to 100 listings. I'm at 70 now. I'm going to break that down into 10 items at a time, so my first "mini goal" will be to get to 80 items. :-)

2) Sell AT LEAST another 10 items. 10 would bring my total sales up to 500!

well i have:
- uploaded a few new pics (and more will follow)
- had 2 sales (i´m almost at the revenue of last year but i´d need one more sale to beat it)
- list daily - check, so far
- 140 items - no such luck yet, i´ve been at 136 and then a sale came along (i´m not complaining :-) )
well there are another 16 days to go so we´ll see what else can be done

Olivia I hear you!! the first weekend in may I had 6 orders totalling 10 sales…thought my shop was really taking off…and then it died!!! I finally had a sale on Monday but it was from a friend (which still counts but still)…it can be so frustrating how inconsistent sales can be! Good luck!!!

I have had 3 this week which is great, downfall is I forgot how much time it takes into making my items. I have an art project and a bio paper to turn in tomorrow. I also have to work on my three hours. I've been so use to laying around doing nothing.

My goals for may are pretty straight foward

- work on getting new photos for my shop
- add new items ( I got a sewing machine for my birthday, I wanna try and make some stuff for my shop with it, got a few things in the works now)
- sell some of my inventory at the art walk ( I have been making stuff but I havent really been selling it) The art walk is next month so I have alot to do to start out for that
- Make a sale or two on etsy, so far I have made alot of custom order outside of etsy but none on etsy. last sale was in march :(

I'd like to get new photos done of several items I have for sale, work on my tags, add a summer sun hat to my inventory and have ONE hat sale also!! :)
