Many listings in one day or a handful spread throughout each week?

Which way is likely the best to post listings? I tend to craft a whole bunch of items on the weekend and list them each right away as I finish them. Once in a while I'll have time after work to make and list something on a weekday. This leaves me with a big peak in views on the weekend and a steady, albeit much lower, stream the rest of the week.

How much of an impact would there be if I saved drafts of what I make on the weekend and list a couple of items a day (ideally at peak traffic hours) instead of all at once? Am I likely to get more or fewer views on weekdays?

Has anyone else come up with a plan that works well around their day job?

I tend to make drafts for all of my items and list a few each day. That way I can be consistantly listing through out the week. I see thatvit works best that way for me, I think it is also do to the nature of my product.

I list every day ( not much) as this brings new potential customers to my shop on a daily base and you have the whole week publicity....

I list something every other day, and never in a cluster, so that people are always looking to see what's new in my shop. About to list now, as a matter of fact!

For me because my product is so time consuming I list when I get one done. But keeping track of when I have more views I try to list around that time.

It's better to list throughout the week. If you cluster all of your listings together you'll get lots of for a short amount of time, but if you list regularly you'll have something current everyday for people to see.

I've found that for jewelry it's best to list throughout the week, but for accessories it doesn't really matter.

What are the peak times to post in the eastern US?

I kind of take the approach it is better to list and have the items in your shop rather than wait. You can always renew an item. A customer can't buy it if it isn't in the shop (ok except for custom requests.).

I'm making and listing a few things every day but if weekends are when you have time to create, I've read it's better to spread listings out to reach the widest number of people. People use their computers at different times and on different days and if you're only listing on the weekend, people who work weekends will never see "new items from your favorite shops" in their activity feed.
