Low reviews

I am have all good reviews but a low percentage. 625 sale with only 163 reviews. This is driving me crazy, Do they not like.... Was it not what they expected?

I don't know. Do you do anything that encourages people to leave feedback? Do you think people will shop from my shop less because o this ratio? Even though this month has been above average....I don't know. .. Like I said driving me crazy

don't sweat it - I have 3,786 sales and only 772 reviews....it's not the quantity of reviews, but the quality ;)

Wow excellent in pulling in sales. I wouldn't worry about how many give feedback as long as your getting excellent feedback.

Only for my longtime repeat customers , when i send them a thank you note with their purchase, i let them know if they love my jewelry please leave some feedback.

I don't do it with new customers, because i don't want to seem as I am hounding them.

We have a note at the bottom of our shipping policies page and also on our "Note from Shop," at the bottom of the Etsy receipt that reads:

"Please consider leaving us a review (feedback) here on Etsy when you receive your wares. It is greatly appreciated! :)"

We've done this for a few months now and it seems to help. I actually think people like to share their opinions and give compliments if given the opportunity!

We buy things every day and most of the time don't review the shops we buy from. I don't expect Etsy to be any different. If I get reviews that is great and good reviews are obviously beneficial but I wouldn't worry if a customer does not give a review.

I created a post not too long ago about this. I have ha many more sales than I have had reviews.

Despite a note in my sent receipt/thank you note,
To leave feedback, and lets know if there are any concerns or issues with order.

It hardly ever happens. It drives me crazy also, but there truly isn't much than can be done about it.

Unfortunately that's pretty typical. I have 76 sales and 19 reviews. I worry too that maybe a buyer liked an item, but didn't love it, so they didn't leave a review. It's hard not to hear anything back because then you start to wonder. But I decided not to do anything like ask for feedback in an email because I don't want to annoy my buyers and have them think I'm spamming them.

That's pretty typical. My shop is the same, maybe 1 out of 5 or so sales gets a review

I have a 35% review rate. I think many people don't know how to leave feedback so I tell them how in the confirmation email along with when their package will arrive.
