This listing get lots of views, but not as many sales and/or inquiries as I would like. Any critique would be welcome.

Re: Listing critique

As a buyer, the listing leaves me a bit confused.

The fact that it's a 24-pack should be obvious from the title, maybe even the photo. And definitely from the first sentence... "this listing is for 24 votives"...

I can't tell how the scents correspond to the colors. For weddings, people are concerned about colors. And do they come unscented?

The bit I'd really change is the "contact me about packaging" because 90% of buyers are just not going to deal with that inconvenient step. It's especially bad because the first photo shows packaging! I would encourage separate listings there... one for packaging, one without.

Re: Listing critique

I'm with spacefem. I'm confused.

You list A LOT of scents but only show 4 different colors. As a buyer, I would wonder what color went with each scent. Especially when it comes to bridal stuff, many brides already have colors picked out and will probably want their candle colors to coordinate. Mabey if you do different listings for different colors/scents and than link back to the other colors scents in the descriptions?

You also do show two different packaging. I would just pick one and stick with it and not bother the customer to choose.

Re: Listing critique

I'd add that a shot of all the colors labeled with scents would be a lovely 5th photo. Also, as PPs said, indicating up front that it is for 24 candles would be helpful. AND, very important to me as a buyer, what I see in the photo is what I should expect to get - not sneakily add in extra cost that a buyer doesn't expect (packaging). If you want to sell plain, unpackaged candles, that's perfectly fine, but DON'T use a photo of a nicely packaged, personalized label to do such. To me, this is deceiving.

Re: Listing critique

Thank you all so much for your very constructive and helpful critiques.
I need these objective opinions and they are very valuable to me. They are all wonderful suggestions!

I had no idea my description came across as deceiving or sneaky! - that was never my intention. Thank you for pointing that out! I will definitely remedy that!

I will take all of your other suggestions, too - fix my pictures - maybe one could be a collage to show all the different orders I've done & one could be a color chart, but definitely the 1st pic should accurately depict the listing, whether it is for plain candles or candles with packaging,

I will have to figure out how to revamp my variations to make the ordering process simpler, etc.
