I relist every couple of days, it helps to be seen when people are searching in the categories and a bit with regular search. It bumps the items to the first pages in your category. I find it does help me get more views.
I raised my prices after some good feedback and market research and ended up with 3 sales in one day. It's perceived value, it's more expensive so people feel they are buying a good quality, handmade item. I personally am totally swayed by the more expensive items, I may not always be able to buy them right away but would rather buy something that seems to be made well and worth the price than to risk buying low and getting perhaps an item that's not as well made. I like my handmade items that I buy to last quite awhile. Anyway, just thought I'd throw that in there.
