Listing Christmas products in May!

I've just started listing Christmas products after being asked to get them ready for potential press.

And it has taken me to the "fifty items in my shop" milestone!! So exciting!

Is anyone else listing Christmas products already?!

I haven't taken them out, I have Christmas stockings in my shop all the time.

I have one Christmas item in my shop, but I have been keeping all Holiday items in my shop year round.

I would love to get tot he "fifty items in my shop" ( maybe even 40)! Each time I get a few more in there, someone buys them.....LOL

I will begin on some fall items first and be ready to post after July 4th - then it will be onto Christmas things:) I love the holidays and can't wait to design some new Jewelry for this years holiday season!

Laura your shop is adorable! I haven't listed anything for Christmas, but I don't think it hurts, who knows hopefully you will get some extra early Christmas shoppers :)

I wouldn't even be thinking about Christmas yet if it wasn't for Etsy letting me know that if I have my Christmas products in the shop now they will be put forward for press opportunities :)

Sure! I've got Christmas stuff listed at half off right now in anticipation of new Christmas stuff in a couple of months. Gotta get rid of stuff.

I'm starting to think about stuff for the fall and Christmas in my other two shops as well. Keeps you on your toes, doesn't it?

Doesn't Etsy do a big "Christmas in July" promotion each year?

Yeah, the sellers get together and organize it -there are tags for free shipping and tags for discounts. DesignedbyLucinda should be starting that up in the next month or so. She generally sets up in the Main Forums to let people know they're gearing up.

Wow! Way to plan ahead. I've been thinking about what I want to do for the holiday season, but haven't started yet. I'm thinking about listing ornaments with my artwork on them, and I've been working on making jewelry out of my art prints.
