List items all at the same time -or- spread them out?

Hello!

I usually have several pillow covers ready to list at the same time because I try to do my work assembly style by focusing on one thing at a time. Anyways, I'm usually anxious to get everything listed, but I'm wondering if maybe it would bring in more views if I did one or two a day instead? Does anyone have an opinion on this? If you had 10 new items ready would you list them all at once or do a few a day?

I prefer to do a few each day. It seems like the visit count keeps up if I continues post. Hope that helps.

I list minimally 4 items a day. I try to consider the best times to list. I live on the West coast, and the greater population is on the east coast, so I try to list in four items every morning, and then I do my relisting every afternoon betweem 3 -5, which I feel ideally hits the east and west coasts evenly. At least once a week, I try to relist items late at night, to catch the internatioinal customers :) Right, wrong or indifferent, it seems to work for me :)

Gayla..........when you say "relist"....do you just go back and relist the items you listed earlier that morning??

My five cents. I used to think that listing one or two items a day was preferable to listing four or five at the same time and would keep my shop on top. Now I say, it depends. I have another shop where I sell items other than jewelry. For example, I found out through trial and error that it is best for me to list all the vintage lace of similar design at one time. Per my experience, some clients will want to mix and match and appreciate having all the choices readily available. If I release one or two listings a day in that shop, I do not notice a change in views and hardly get a sale. However, If I release several items a day, I notice an increase in views and sales. Re listing does not seem to be doing much for me in that shop.

i try to list/relist 1-2 items every day, on rare occasions 3. i keep thinking about doing things differently but doing a little bit every day is so much easier for me. i do things like taking photos in batches though

I find that if I've got things ready to list, i go ahead and get them listed asap. To me, there's no point in having them wait.

People don't really worry about when an item was purchased but if its not listed it cannot be sold.

I try to list 5 items throughout the a day, if I run out of photo's because of bad weather, I re-list items in stock. I have 270 items in my shop and the shop has been open since May this year with 32 sales. I am based in Ireland and most of my customers are in the U.S.A.

I like to list at different times in the day/night. I also try to think about what is best to list. Sometimes certain colors would be good, like black and orange for Halloween. Red and white around the holiday.
